The Keynsham Lucky 250 Club is due to launch in April. This is a new and exciting way to support Keynsham Mencap.

Entrance costs £50 for the whole year which runs from April to the following March, so sign up before the end of March to be sure to get your name in all 12 draws. Membership of the Lucky 250 Club gets you entry into the monthly draws where there will be a top prize of £100 and 2 further prizes of £50, so you will have 3 chances to win each month.
The monthly prizes shall be drawn during a Trustee Meeting, Mencap Club or event at the discretion of the Trustees, with winners notified and prizes paid out within 2 weeks of the draw. Winners names will be published in the next newsletter, on the website and Facebook page.
The first draw will take place in April, providing we have 50 members.

Keynsham Lucky 250 Club
The rules for the “Keynsham Lucky 250 Club” were ratified at the Annual General Meeting of Keynsham and District Mencap Society on 10th July, 2025.
Rules for The Keynsham Lucky 250 Club
1. The Club shall be known as the Keynsham & District Mencap Society Lucky 250 Club or more commonly The Keynsham Lucky 250 Club, or The 250 Club.
2. The number of Entrants of The Keynsham Lucky 250 Club shall be no more than 250.
3. There is one draw per month.
4. The annual subscription shall be £50 per annum, payable in advance by standing order.
5. Entrants shall be entered into the monthly draw for the 12 months April to March no matter when in the year the entrant joins.
6. The prizes shall be 1 x £100 and 2 x £50 per month (or as agreed by Trustees) and an annual draw where the prizes will be agreed by Trustees.
7. Over the 12-month period a minimum of 30% of the fund is distributed as prize money.
8. No one number can win more than one prize in the monthly draw but will be eligible for all prizes. In the event of a re-draw the higher prize shall be paid. (E.g. if the same number is drawn for both a £50 and the £100 prize, they win the £100 and the £50 is drawn again).
9. The monthly prizes shall be drawn during a Trustee Meeting, Club or event at the discretion of the Trustees. The date of the following month’s draw will be confirmed at the preceding trustee meeting.
10. Once there are over 100 numbers in the draw, the December draw will have a higher prize, determined by the trustees at their November meeting.
11. The Promoter of the draw is the 250 Club Manager, who is selected at a Trustee meeting and confirmed at the AGM yearly.
12. A list of the monthly and annual winners shall be displayed on The Keynsham Mencap Facebook Page, Instagram page, website, and newsletter.
13. These rules shall be displayed on The Society’s website, and will be sent to Entrants before joining the Keynsham Lucky 250 Club, and annually ahead of renewal.
14. Winners will be notified and paid by bank transfer within two weeks of the draw.
15. At the discretion of Trustees, proceeds from The 250 Club shall be transferred, when deemed appropriate, into the bank account of The Society and be used as deemed appropriate by Trustees of The Society.
16. Each Entrant will be allocated a number and have their Entry acknowledged annually following payment.
17. These rules may only be altered at Trustee Meetings.
