A Fully Self-Funded Charity Organisation

We are a charity providing social and leisure opportunities to children and adults with learning disabilities or autism.

We run weekly social clubs, sports clubs and projects. We organise annual holidays and weekend breaks. We arrange day trips and seasonal activities.

At Keynsham and District Mencap Society we believe all children and adults with a learning disability or autism should be able to access the same play, social and leisure activities as their peers.

We help people to make the most of their lives – to get a little more independence, to build friendships, take part in exciting activities and new experiences.

We run a Members Committee that meet quarterly. They tell us what they want from their clubs and how we can improve the services we offer.

Keynsham & District Mencap Society services are available to anyone in Keynsham and the surrounding areas with a learning disability or autism and to their families.

Keynsham & District Mencap Society works with all who want to improve the quality of life for people with a learning disability or autism. We work in partnership and co-operates with all statutory and voluntary agencies that share its aims.

We are affiliated with National Mencap but as an independent local charity we need to raise all our own funds.
