Play & Shine is a stay & play group for children in their early years with SEN (with or without a diagnosis) that provides a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. In addition to supporting children in their early years, this group aims to provide a much-needed community space for parents and caregivers. It offers them the opportunity to connect with others, share experience & build a network of mutual support.

Fun Activities During Term Time
Our Play & Shine group is a welcoming and nurturing space for young children with SEN and their families. Each week during term time, we come together to explore, play and grow through fun, sensory experience designed to support every child’s individual journey.
Sessions are held at Queens Road Methodist Church, where we have access to a spacious hall, outdoor space & a smaller room – perfect for active play, discovery, and calm sensory moments. There is always something new to enjoy, with plenty of opportunities for children to connect, shine and build confidence in a safe and understanding environment.
